There’s always a story: I could NOT find the perfect image of the Virgin Mary for my pendants… I searched high and low and the faces were not right; features not the best. I walked into my religious book club one morning to my friend sharing with me a pencil sketch her daughter had drawn of Mary… and let me tell you she was PERFECT! I received permission from the artist, Olivia, to use her image in my designs. Thus Olivia’s Mary was born! This design is modeled after my mom’s Mary pendant that she wears every day with the filigree halo. There is also a slightly bigger version with a ribbon edge. LOVE her!!!
