Stretchy bracelet of rich garnet-colored pearls with large white pearl focal bead and brass saucers. Glenwood Avenue in Raleigh, NC has changed so much over the years – I worked as a graphic design intern when I was still a student at NC State in the College of Design. I worked as a designer after graduation at the same studio and, handily, Askew-Taylor paints was next door and one could walk after work to 42nd Street Oyster bar or head on up the street to Char Grill. Now it’s a late night hot spot sprinkled with shops – a different kind of charm but one of my favorite streets just the same.
